South Africa is a country located at the southern tip of Africa.


South Africa is known for its diversity of cultures, languages and religious beliefs. Eleven official languages are recognized as the Constitution of South Africa.






  • The most important cities

South Africa is divided into nine provinces, with their respective capitals. Provinces all with many peculiarities, amazing cities, the cities of Cape Town in Western Cape province, or province of Gauteng, where Johannesburg.


Kimberley, Bhisho, Pietermaritzburg, Nelspruit, Polokwane ... are some major cities, other places to note are the cities where we find the largest ports in South Africa, the link between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, with places like Port Elizabeth, Mossel Bay or East London among others. The nine South African provinces were born in 1993, and previously was only 4.






  • Typical food
South Africa's cuisine has a variety of sources, highlight the following courses:

- Amasi: sour milk.

- Biltong: salted cured meat (similar to a dried meat).

- Bobotie: a dish originating in Malay cuisine is like a meat pie with raisins and cooked egg on top, and often served with yellow rice, sambals, coconut, banana slices and Chutney.

- Boerewors: a sausage that has been traditionally subject to braai (barbecue).

- Bunny Chow: It is a kind of bread filled with curry.

- Chutney: Fresh salsa is usually poured on meat, especially a local brand called Mrs Ball's Chutney.

- Frikkadelle: meatballs.

South Africa is an ideal destination for tourists in search of variety.

-Beautiful beaches, lakes, forests and mountains, interspersed with virgin forest and desert, like the Kalahari, Kruger Park, Pilanesberg, Santa Lucia, Blyde River in Mpumalanga Panoramic Route, Tsitsikama.

- It is also inevitable miss the African tribes, Zulu, Xhosa, Ndebele, etc.. sharing with them their customs and traditions.

- In the Kalahari-Gemsbok National Park, for example, predators can see that one looks only at the Animal Planet, Discovery, such as leopards, lions, tigers, cheetahs.

- But not all nature and landscapes, the country offers cities with hundreds of activities, entertainment, shopping and nightlife interesting. The craft shops are a delight to put things you like native.

In South Africa we find different types of languages, including the most popular are: Afrikaans, English, Zulu, Xhosa, seZutu, sell and five other languages for a total of eleven official languages.


  • Religions

The main religion is Christianity (about 80%), followed by Islam and Hinduism.

  • Nature and Animal
South Africa has more than 20,000 different plants, which represent about 10% of all known species of the world, so it is considered an area particularly rich in plant biodiversity.

The vegetation is more sparse towards the northwest due to low rainfall.

In the Bushveld habitats are numerous mammals such as lion, leopard, blue wildebeest, the kudu, impala, hyena, hippo and giraffe.
The Cape Floral Kingdom has been identified as one of the most sensitive of South African biodiversity as it will be seriously affected by climate change and has an enormous diversity of life.

Drought, increased intensity and frequency of fires and increasing the temperature lead to the extinction of many of these alien species.
